Panthers host Rutgers for Weekend Series

2012: Posted a 6-6 record and 3.76 ERA in 14 starts...finished first in ERA among the team's starting pitchers and second on the staff in games started, wins, and innings pitched (95.2)...recorded 72 strikeouts, striking out five or more batters on nine occasions...held opponents to a .283 batting average...pitched four complete games, including a shutout against Cincinnati on May 31 where he struck out seven and surrendered just four hits and one walk...put together a scoreless streak of 22 innings during three consecutive starts against Notre Dame (March 24), Cincinnati (March 31), and Connecticut (April 6)...allowed no walks in games against Sacred Heart (March 7), Hartford (March 17), Georgetown (April 28), and Seton Hall (May 12)...struck out a career-high nine batters in the 5-0 win against Georgetown...lauded as the Big East Pitcher of the Week for Week 7 and the Big East Weekly Honor Roll for Week 11.

2011: Finished his freshman season with a 4.31 ERA...posted a 4-5 record in 13 total appearances...recorded 49 strikeouts and allowed just six walks in 71 innings pitched.
