Sophomore (2001): Brad Papciak made an appearance in nine games during the Panthers' 2001 season...contributed one RBI in a game versus Kent State University (April 4). Freshman (2000): Played second base in his first collegiate game versus Youngstown State (May 4)...was walked in his only appearance at the plate...also appeared as a pinch-runner at Akron (May 11) and versus Boston College (May 14). Redshirt (1999): Papciak spent the 1999 season as a redshirt. High School: Hit .437 as a senior with team-highs of 38 hits and 25 runs in 87 at-bats...second on the team with 33 RBIs...had a team-high 13 stolen bases...recorded 30 putouts and 65 assists...a 1998 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette All-WPIAL Team selection...named East Player of the Year...an American Legion All-West selection...member of the National Honor Society...four-time letterwinner in baseball under Head Coach Dave Anderson...also a four-time letterwinner in soccer and a letterwinner in basketball.
