2013: Named Pitt's first captain of the Jordano Era...played in and started 57 games for the Panthers...finished the year with a .329 average with six homeruns and 51 RBI...tied for the team lead with six game-winning hits...had multiple hits in six of the first seven games...hit his first career homerun against West Virginia and added five more on the season including back-to-back games vs. YSU and Coppin State on April 16 and 17... went 3-for-3 with three triples and two RBI against Rutgers...batted 2-for-3 with a homerun and a season best four RBIs against Cincinnati...tallied hits and RBIs in the Panthers' final five games of the season, including a 3-for-5, two RBI, outing in Pitt's win over Seton Hall at the Big East Tournament.

2012: Started 42 games at third base and batted .302 with a .378 on-base percentage and .358 slugging percentage...finished the season with 26 RBI, the fifth-highest total on the team...had six multiple-RBI performances to go along with 11 multi-hit games...his junior season featured a hitting streak of eight games and an on-base streak of 17 games...went 2-4 with two runs and three RBI in a 22-12 win over Wofford on Feb. 24, his first start as a Panther.

At Lackawanna Junior College: Named first team all-region and All-Northeast District in each of his two seasons at Lackawanna...Northeast Defensive Player of the Year as a his two seasons, finished with 14 home runs, 100 RBI and batted over .400...guided team to Region 19 Championship both seasons as a team captain.

High School: Parente was a four-year letterwinner at Pittston Area High School...was named all-conference as a junior and senior...three-year team captain...had a .400 batting average in three of his four seasons...hit 15 home runs and had 78 RBI in his high school career...helped Pittston win two district championships and two conference championships...played for the Lackawanna Lumberjacks in the ACBL...played two years of varsity football.
