REDSHIRT (2004): Don Rhoten sat out the 2004 season recovering from arm injury.

JUNIOR (2003): Rhoten was one of the workhorses for the Panthers on the mound as he worked a total of 60 innings...earned only save of the season on Feb. 15 in a 2-1 win at Duke...posted an ERA of 3.30 which was second best on the team...struck out five Mount St. Mary's hitters en route to his first win of the season on March 2...started nine games...pitched six strong innings while striking out a season-high eight batters against Chicago State on March 8...notched a 4-2 record with one save and 40 strikeouts...appeared in 14 games...led Pittsburgh to a 3-1 win at Connecticut on May 17 by tossing 6.2 innings of four-hit ball and striking out six Huskies...held opponents to a dismal .210 batting average...pitched in New England Collegiate Baseball League for the Concord Quarry Dogs.

SOPHOMORE (2002): Rhoten finished as one of the top Panther starting hurlers last season...held a 5-3 record with one save and a 4.87 ERA in 12 appearances...ranked third on the team with 43 strikeouts in 61 innings, both of which were career-highs...opened the season with a 15-0 victory over Md.-Eastern Shore, pitching five scoreless innings and allowing two hits while striking out four batters...one week later, threw five innings against Holy Cross to pick up his second victory of the season...allowed just one unearned run and no walks with four punch-outs...in his only relief work of the season, picked up his first career save by shutting down Adelphi for four innings in the Panthers' 3-2 victory...struck out a career-high eight batters in 5.2 innings in his win over Georgetown (May 4)...despite allowing nine runs in six innings at West Virginia, tallied his fifth victory of the season while mowing down seven Mountaineers.

FRESHMAN (2001): Rhoten was effective on the mound in his first year with the Panthers...posted a 2-4 mark with a 5.16 ERA...his ERA was third on the team...appeared in a team-best 13 outings, starting seven...picked up his first collegiate win versus Cleveland State (April 3)...pitched 6.2 innings, giving up two runs and striking out four Vikings in an 8-2 victory...recorded a career-best seven innings pitched in his last outing of the year, a 4-1 upset of Virginia Tech...gave up one run on five hits and mowed down five Hokies...tallied a career-high six strikeouts at St. John's...tossed 3.1 scoreless innings versus Seton Hall, striking out five and walking just one batter...was a solid defensive fielder as well, committing no errors in 14 chances on the mound. High School (LEGION): Rhoten compiled a perfect 6-0 career record at Central Catholic High...also had two career saves and a 1.29 career ERA...had 63 career strikeouts compared to only 23 walks in 43.3 innings.
