2016: Served primarily as Pitt’s mid-week starter in his junior season … appeared in 12 games, earning the start in 11 contests … pitched to a record of 5-3 … tossed a total of 56.2 innings, allowing 73 hits, 39 earned runs and 20 walks … recorded 42 strikeouts … opened the year on Feb. 20 with a start against Toledo … went 5.1 innings to earn the win, recording seven strikeouts while allowing just one earned run off of four hits and one walk … moved to 2-0 on Feb. 26 at Grambling State … allowed one earned run off of seven hits and two walks, striking out six … appeared in relief for 3.0 innings at New Orleans and 1.2 innings at North Carolina … returned to the starting rotation at Kent State on March 16 … pitched 5.0 innings, allowing four runs off of eight hits and one walk, recording four strikeouts to move to 3-1 … earned another victory over Kent state on March 30 … tossed 7.1 innings, allowing three runs off of eight hits and one walk, striking out four … captured a win at West Virginia on April 12 … tossed 6.0 innings of scoreless work, surrendering just three hits and one walk while striking out seven … threw 7.0 innings of efficient work in a win against Maryland Eastern Shore on May 4 … went 7.0 innings, allowing two runs off of four hits and two walks with six strikeouts … concluded the season with starts against Penn State (May 11) and West Virginia (May 17) at home.
2015: Made his season debut and second career start against Niagara in game two, taking a perfect game into the fourth inning, struck out six and allowed only two hits and two runs in 5.1 innings ... Made his second start of the season against Akron and pitched 3.0 innings... Earned the win at Youngstown State pitching five innings with five strikeouts and only allowing two runs off of two hits ... Handed his first loss after allowing four runs in 5.0 innings against West Virginia ... Pitched a career-long 6.0 innings, striking out five and giving up just one run on three hits ... Had a no-hitter that lasted 6.2 innings and pitched a career-long 8.2 innings against Kent State and allowed just one run on two hits while striking out a personal best seven batters ... Made first relief appearance of the season in the finale at No. 13 Florida State ... Received a no decision at Penn State after striking out five and allowing four runs, three earned, in 5.2 innings... In finale against GT, pitched 4.0 innings and recorded three strikeouts ...
