2013: A first-team All-Big East selection...one of two Panthers to play in all 59 games, making 57 starts...batted .320 with six homers and 43 RBI...registered a .514 slugging percentage and a .416 on-base percentage...had a team best six triples...helped the pitching staff to a program low 3.59 ERA in 2013...tallied RBIs in the first four games of the year...went 5-for-9 with seven RBI in the Panther Classic...had four RBI in Pitt's sweep of St. John's...tallied a career-high six RBI in Pitt's April 20 win against Rutgers going 4-for-5 on the day with two doubles and a homer...had a pair of triples against Cincinnati on April 27... hit two doubles against Louisville on May 18...finished the year on an 18 game hitting streak.

2012: Finished his freshman campaign with a .250 batting average and .398 slugging percentage...had 18 extra-base hits and tied for the team lead in home runs (7)...tallied 38 RBI and 86 total bases...one of only three Panthers to start every game in 2012...finished second on the team in sacrifice flies (4), third in at-bats (216), fifth in doubles (11), and fifth in hits (54)...went 3-5 with two home runs, four runs scored, and four RBI against Wofford on Feb. 24...hit two doubles with two runs and two RBI in a 4-4 performance against USF on April 15...led the Big East in runners caught stealing (21) and posted a .993 fielding percentage from behind the plate.

High School: Soto, a switch-hitting catcher, was rated the top prospect in the state of New York for the 2011 class by PerfectGame.org...named the Bronx Player of the Year in 2009 as well as a 2009 Gatorade Player of the Year nominee...prior to the start of his junior season at Xaverian, he was named an Under Armour Pre-Season All-American...was a three-year varsity starter at Xaverian where he hit .352 with seven home runs, 14 doubles, six triples, 26 walks and 51 RBI...as a senior he was named all-borough, all-city, all-conference, all-state and was named a third team 2010 Underclass Rawlings All-American...has participated in the East Coast Pro Showcase in Lakeland, Fla., Tournament of Stars in Cary, N.C., and the Area Code Games in Long Beach, Calif...was asked to play for the 18U Team USA and started in 13 games, ranking among the top 20 catchers in the country for the 2011 class by PerfectGame.org...won championships with the Bayside Yankees and the Long Island Storm...played for the Cardinals Scout Team (2011 Jupiter)...was Vice President of the Latin American Club at Xaverian where he also took part in the Big Brother program mentoring incoming freshmen...was twice named Student-Athlete of the Year at Xaverian.
