Cole made 13 appearances last season...made his lone start on March 26 at Ohio State, going 3.2 innings and giving up five runs off seven hits while striking out one...struck out a season-high four batters in four innings of relief work against Cornell on March 16.

Cole Taylor was a member of the four-time Section Champion baseball team at Burrell High School...was a four-year All-Section selection....named to the Valley News Dispatch First Team as a sophomore, junior and senior...a first team selection by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as a sophomore and senior...was named the WPIAL Player of the Year in 2007.
