2014: Appeared in and started a team-high 52 games...hit .268 on the year with 22 RBI...led the Panthers in runs (40), hits (57), doubles (13), triples (five), total bases (86) and walks (33)...3-5 with home run, three RBI and three runs scored against Butler...4-7 with a home run and a Panthers season-best six RBI against Presbyterian ...seven game hit streak from March 11-March 19 including five multi-hit games...moved into fourth all-time in Panthers history in runs with 161...fourth all-time in doubles with 44...second all-time in triples with 15.
2013: A second team All-Big East selection...batted .318 with seven homers and 47 RBI...led the Big East and ranked 10th nationally with 65 runs scored....had five game-winning hits for the Panthers...began the year on a four game hitting streak...hit his first homerun of the season against Toledo on March 17...had a season-best four RBI at USF with a double and a homer...scored five runs at Youngstown State...hit a walk-off three run homerun against Rutgers on April 21...had lead-off homers against Akron and Louisville...scored runs in 11-consecutive games from April 20-May 8...ended the year on a 10 game hitting streak.
2012: Finished the season with a .275 batting average, a .333 on-base percentage, and a .392 slugging percentage in 52 games...recorded the third most hits on the team (61)...tied for the team lead in stolen bases (9)...finished first on the team in triples (5), second in runs scored (46), second in at-bats (222), fourth in doubles (13), and fourth in total bases (87)...his five triples rank fifth in Pitt's all-time single-season record book...hit his first career home run in the Panthers' 8-2 win over Akron on May 8...went 4-6 with three runs and two RBI in Pitt's 22-12 win against Wofford on Feb. 24...had three hits and a stolen base against USF on April 15.
2011: Played in 21 games in 2011...had three hits and scored 10 runs...stole four bases.
High School: Vranka had a career batting average of .460 with two home runs and 16 triples...hit .507 his final year at Gateway High School...named to the All-Section Quad A team his sophomore, junior and senior seasons...selected as a member of the 2010 Pittsburgh East All-Star team...a standout wide receiver on the Gators football team...set the school record for receiving yards in a season...named second team All-State for football his senior year...as a junior, selected as an All-Big School first team member in 2009 and honorable mention in 2008...named to the all-section team for basketball...graduated from Gateway with honors.
