JUNIOR (2007): Dan Williams broke out at the plate in the later part of the 2007 season...ended the year with an eight-game hitting streak that included five multi-hit games and eight RBI...started 23 games at second base, 16 at third base and six at shortstop while appearing in a total of 48...earned third-highest batting average and slugging percentage for the Panthers with marks of .301 and .468, respectively...had an impressive team-high on-base percentage of .427...tallied 24 RBI on 47 hits including 11 doubles and five homeruns...showed patience at the plate while drawing a team-high 30 walks...recorded second-most assists for the Panthers with 89 while fielding nine double plays...notched 11 multi-hit and three multi-RBI games...led Pitt to a close 16-15 win over Cleveland State on May 15, driving in three runs and scoring one...blasted first homerun of the season in a 5-0 victory over reigning conference champions Notre Dame on March 31...sparked the Panthers' 11-6 win over Villanova on April 20, going 2-4 with two RBI...fueled Pitt's 5-4 comeback victory over Akron on May 1 with a two-run homerun and perfect 2-2 day at the plate...batted .500 during the Big East Championship series to close out the season.
