PITTSBURGH -

Due to the projected weather conditions and forecast in Chillcothe, Ohio, the University of Pittsburgh and Youngstown State University baseball teams have decided to postpone their three-game series that was scheduled for this weekend.

"Coach Pasquale and I have decided it would be in our teams' best interest to cancel the games scheduled for this weekend," said Pitt head coach Joe Jordano. "We will attempt to make up at least one of the games at a later date."

The Panthers are currently 1-2 after the season's opening weekend, when they split two games with Virginia Tech and dropped a 10-5 decision to Maryland.
