PITTSBURGH - Coming off of a weekend sweep of then 16th-ranked Notre Dame, the University of Pittsburgh baseball team has returned to the latest Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll, coming in at No. 25.
The Panthers, who were ranked for two weeks earlier in the season, are ranked for the first time since the 2010 season when they climbed to as high as 20th in the polls.
The Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll is the oldest college baseball poll as it dates back to the 1957 college baseball season.
Pitt returns to action on Tuesday, April 15, when it hosts Youngstown State in a 3 p.m. contest at Charles L. Cost Field at the Petersen Sports Complex.
