WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Pitt baseball game against Kent State, scheduled for Wednesday night at Consol Energy Park, has been cancelled due to suspect field conditions caused by heavy rain in the immediate area.
The Panthers conclude the regular season in a three-game series beginning Thursday with Big East foe Seton Hall at Trees Field. Pitt, 26-23 overall and 14-9 in Big East play, currently sits in fourth in the latest standings and has already locked up a spot in the Big East Championship.
