Mike Lecak (pronounced LEE-sak) is a sophomore walk-on who transferred to Pitt after playing his freshman season at Wheeling Jesuit University. This past summer, he competed in the Pittsburgh Pro-Am in Greentree.

Attended and played his freshman season at Wheeling Jesuit University for head coach Dan Suncomb...Helped guide Wheeling Jesuit to a 2012 NCAA Division II Tournament berth with a 22-10 overall and 13-6 WVIAC record...Played in 10 games off the bench in 2011-12...Scored 21 points (2.1 ppg.), shot 66.7 percent (8-12) from the floor and 50 percent (4-8) from 3-point range...Scored a season-high eight points, hit 2-3 3-pointers in only four minutes of action vs. Chowan, 11/12...Saw first collegiate action, played three minutes and hit his first career 3-pointer vs. Bloomsburg, 11/11.
