Sophomore Season: Donatas Zavackas proved he can be a dangerous offensive threat for Pittsburgh as a sophomore...stepped up in some of Pittsburgh's biggest games, especially in the Big East Championship...posted double-figure scoring games in three of the four contests in the tournament...had his best performance in the win over Syracuse when he sank 14 points, including four 3-pointers...chipped in 16 versus Miami and had 10 in the win over Notre Dame...averaged 7.9 points per game on the year overall...also averaged 3.3 rebounds...poses a strong outside threat... connected on a team-high 49.4 percent (41 of 83) from 3-point range...was also Pittsburgh's top free-throw shooter making 82.1 percent (69 of 84)...made 24 consecutive starts after coming off the bench during the early part of the season...scored in double figures in 11 games...led the Panthers in scoring in three games and in rebounding twice...put up his best performance of the season versus Notre Dame (2/3) with a career-high 22 points...connected on 7-of-13 shots (53.8) from the field, including 5-of-6 3-point attempts (83.3)...also hit 3-of-4 from the foul line...played a key role in Pittsburgh's upsets of Seton Hall and Georgetown...had a team-high 17 points to go along with five assists against the Pirates (1/13)...hit all seven of his free throw attempts in the game and had two 3-pointers...versus Georgetown (1/20), dropped in 11 points, including three 3-pointers...two of his treys came during the second half and helped the Panthers hold their lead...his first double-figure scoring game of the season came in a rout of Robert Morris when he scored 15 points...was 5 of 7 overall and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line...grabbed a career-high eight rebounds twice...first time came versus Miami (1/3)...also grabbed eight against Georgetown (2/5) which included a then career-high four off the offensive glass...was the Panthers' second-leading rebounder at West Virginia (2/8) with seven boards, including a career-high five offensive...added another seven rebounds versus Virginia Tech to go along with nine points...added eight points in the Panthers' second win over Seton Hall (2/15)...was one of two players to score in double figures at West Virginia with 12 points while adding seven rebounds.

Freshman Season: Injured his plantar fascia in the second half of the Norfolk State game, causing him to miss four games...was one of the team's top shooters, ranking second in free throw percentage (76.8), second in 3-point percentage (33.3) and third in field goal percentage (41.3)...made 14 of his first 15 free throw attempts of the season and 12 of his last 15...scored nine points in his collegiate debut, a win versus Wright State...hit 4-of-6 shots overall and 1-of-2 3-pointers...scored 16 points against St. Francis (Pa.), making his first six shots and all four of his free throw attempts...after two games coming off the bench and seeing limited action due to the injury, returned to the starting lineup at New Orleans and responded by playing a season-high 35 minutes...scored 10 points and recorded a then career-high seven rebounds...made two 3-pointers, including one with 2:40 left to play giving the Panthers their biggest lead of the game (seven points)...grabbed two key offensive rebounds inside the final minute to help preserve the win over the Privateers...scored seven points with six rebounds in his Big East debut at St. John's ...led the Panthers with 13 points versus Connecticut, making 4-of-6 attempts from the field and at the line...named Big East Briefs "Rookie of the Week" as he led Pittsburgh to a victory over Villanova, giving the Panthers their first Big East win of the season...scored a career-high 19 points versus the Wildcats, making 10-of-14 free throws...although he only scored three points against Notre Dame (2/6), played stellar defense on one of the league's best players, Troy Murphy, helping hold the league's top scorer to 2-of-11 shooting in the first half and only 7-of-19 overall...handed out three assists at Syracuse (2/16) to establish a career high...had a well-rounded game to help defeat Rutgers with five points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal and a blocked shot...drained a pair of free throws with 15 seconds remaining to seal the victory... connected on a 3-pointer with 30 seconds left to seal a 57-53 come-from-behind victory at Providence...collected a career-high eight rebounds, four on each end...was praised for his defensive effort, holding the Friars' leading scorer, Erron Maxey, to 1-of-10 shooting and two points.

Prior to Pittsburgh: Did not play his senior season at St. Vincent-St. Mary due to Ohio high school transfer rules, but did work out with the a junior, played at St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, New Jersey...named honorable mention All-New Jersey by USA Today...led the Gray Bees to the A Division state championship, scoring 17 points in the title game...St. Benedict's was 29-4 and ended the season ranked No. 7 by the New Jersey Star-Ledger...played on the Lithuanian Junior National Team for two years...averaged 27 points and 12 rebounds per game his final season with the team.
