*Pitt improved to 16-2 overall and 4-0 in Big East play. The Panthers begin a Big East regular season at 4-0 for the fourth time in the last six years.

 

*Mike Cook scored a season-high 18 points on the evening. He reached double figure scoring for the 12th time in 18 games.
