PITTSBURGH--All 14 players scored a field goal for No. 22 Pitt as it defeated NCAA Division II Indiana (Pa.) 83-31 Sunday evening at the Petersen Events Center. The contest marked Pitt's second and final exhibition game. Pitt opens regular season play next Friday at the Petersen Events Center against Houston Baptist (7 p.m.). The game is the first of three Hispanic College Fund Challenge contests in consecutive days.

IUP is coached by former Pitt assistant coach Joe Lombardi.
Earlier in the day, Pitt hosted its first annual Bill Baierl Alumni Game. The game was held in honor of the late Bill Baierl, a former basketball letterman and dedicated long-time supporter of the Pitt athletics program. Baierl provided the lead gift for the construction of the Petersen Events Center's 43,000-square foot Baierl Student Recreation Center and Baierl Basketball Center which houses Pitt's lockerrooms, team meeting rooms, training and practice facilities.
Festivities included an autograph signing session during halftime of the women's game, a video tribute celebrating Bill Baierl's life and a 30-minute Alumni Game. The video tribune featured interviews from women's basketball coach Agnus Berenato, men's basketball coach Jamie Dixon and Pitt Chancellor Mark Nordenberg. Baierl's wife Carole and cousin Lee both presented speeches along with Pitt great Clive Vaughan. A moment of silence in Baeirl's honor was also observed.
Highlighting the prestigious alumni attendees list included Charles Smith, Curtis Aiken, Bobby Martin, Kirk Bruce, Lou "Bimbo" Cecconi, Sam Clancy, Bernie Artman, Dominic Berardinelli, John Blanton, Marcus Bowman, Rich Carrigan, Pat Cavanaugh, Darrell Gissendanner, Dean Conomikes, John DeGroat, Richard Deitrick, Joe Fenwick, Don Hennon, Antonio Graves, Rob Greenleaf, Tom Booth, Carl Krauser, John Larkin, Mickey Martin, Jason Matthews, Chris McNeal, Jermaine Morgan, Darren Morningstar, David Roman, Charles Smith, Lloyd Simpson, Bill Sulkowski, Irv Topp, Ken Wagoner, Andre Williams, Mickey Zernich, Antoine Jones, Chris McNeal, Darren Morningstar, Darelle Porter, Clive Vaughan, Robert Lovett, Orlando Antigua, Brandin Knight, Memphis coach John Calipari and Manhattan coach Barry Rohrssen.
The Blue squad defeated the Gold 51-48 in a closely contested Alumni Game. The Gold team battled back from a large halftime deficit. After the Gold's Darren Morningstar hit 1-2 free throws to cut the lead to 49-48, the Blue squad's Bobby Martin was fouled. Martin hit both of his free throw attempts and the Gold Squad trailed by only three points 51-48 with 10 seconds remaining. On the next possession, the Gold team's Antonio Graves hit a 3-pointer but the Gold coaching staff of Barry Rohrssen, Curtis Aiken and Sam Clancy inadvertently called timeout before the shot. The Gold team had one opportunity to score with four seconds left but missed several shots giving the Blue Team its 51-48 win.
