*Pitt improved to a perfect 9-0 on the year. Pitt is 9-0 for the first time since 2010-11 and for the eighth time in the last 11 seasons.
*Pitt improved to 186-22 all-time in the Petersen Events Center and have won 92 of their last 104 home games.
*The Panthers won their 15th consecutive game versus a non-conference opponent at home in the win against Loyola Marymount tonight. Pitt head coach Jamie Dixon is now 128-10 all-time against non-conference opponents.
*Pitt has now captured 128 of its last 132 regular season contests against non-conference teams, including a 107-3 all-time record against non-conference opponents at the Petersen Events Center.
*Dating back to the 2002-03 season, the Panthers have posted a 51-2 record in December games against non-conference opponents.
*Junior guard Cameron Wright led the Panthers with 14 points this evening. He shot 77.8-percent (7-for-9) from the field. Wright has paced Pitt's scoring effort in two of the Panthers' past three games now, last occurring on November 30 when he had 20 points against Duquesne.
*Freshman forward Jamel Artis scored eight points for the Panthers tonight while converting a career-high four field goals. Artis also set a career high in rebounds with seven.
*Senior forward Talib Zanna had 12 points and five rebounds in tonight's contest. Zanna has now recorded at least 10 points and five rebounds in six of his eight games played this season.
*Sophomore forward Durand Johnson totaled 12 points on the night--his fifth double-digit game of the year. Johnson also finished with a career-high-tying two steals on defense.
*Freshman guard Josh Newkirk dished out a career-high seven dimes in 17 minutes off the bench for the Panthers.
*Starting forwards Lamar Patterson and Michael Young combined for 20 points tonight. Patterson has now dropped 10 or more points in eight of nine games this season while Young put together his second career game in double digits.
*Sophomore guard James Robinson tallied six assists to go along with nine points in 24 minutes played. Robinson now has four games with at least five dimes as well as five games when he has scored at least nine points.
*Pitt has had at least four players score 10 or more points in four consecutive games. Tonight marked the third time this season when the Panthers have had at least five players in double-digit scoring.
*The Panthers have forced at least 10 turnovers in four of their last five games.
*Pitt's bench accounted for 30 of the Panthers' 85 points tonight, with Artis and Johnson accounting for 20 of that total.
*All 11 Panthers who took the floor tonight scored.
