*Pitt extended its win streak to seven games and improved to 9-1 on the year. 

*Pitt has begun a season with at least a 9-1 record for the ninth time in the last 10 years. The only time Pitt began a season with less than a 9-1 record through its first 10 contests was in 2009-10, when it began 8-2.

*Pitt improved to 27-13 at Madison Square Garden since 2000-01. Pitt has claimed 15 of its last 22 games at Madison Square Garden. 

*Pitt head coach Jamie Dixon improved to 19-11 all-time at Madison Square Garden. At MSG, Dixon has won one Big East title (2008), the 2K Sports/Coaches vs. Cancer Classic title (2010) and guided Pitt to four Big East Championship finals appearances in his nine years as head coach. Dixon also coached his first game at MSG (vs. Alabama in 2003).

*Pitt improved to 6-4 all-time vs. Oklahoma State. It has now won three straight games vs. the Cowboys. It has faced OSU five times since the 2003-04 season. 

*Jamie Dixon (225-61) improved to 105-8 all-time vs. non-conference opponents. In his 10th year as head coach, he now has a 225-61 career record.

*Pitt shot 53.1 percent (26-49) in the contest. Pitt has now shot 50 percent or better in five of 10 games on the year. 

*Pitt outrebounded Oklahoma State 43-25 for an 18-board margin. Pitt has now outrebounded its opponents in eight of 10 contests on the year.

*Oklahoma State scored 68 points in the contest. Pitt has now held seven of its 10 opponents to 70 points or less. Since Jamie Dixon became head coach, Pitt has held 225 of its 285 opponents to 70 points or less. 

*With his 15 points, Nasir Robinson reached double figure scoring for the 28th time in his career and for the seventh time in 10 games this year.

*With his 17 points, Ashton Gibbs notched his 70th career double figure scoring game and 10th of the year. 

*Lamar Patterson finished the day with 12 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. He needed three more assists for a triple double. It marked his first career double-double. His 10 rebounds and seven assists were career-highs. His 12-point scoring performance marked his fifth double figure scoring game of his career and third of the season. He has now had four or more assists in four games on the year.

*Dante Taylor tied a career-high for blocked shots with four in the contest. He also finished with four blocks vs. Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 19, 2009. 

*Pitt takes a week off for finals. Its next contest is on Saturday, Dec. 17 vs. South Carolina State at the Petersen Events Center.
