PITTSBURGH--Viewers will receive a behind-the-scenes, all-access look at a "day-in-the-life" of the No. 5 ranked Pitt basketball team when it appears in a half-hour ESPNU All-Access television show. The show, hosted by Panthers Head Coach Jamie Dixon, will debut nationally on ESPNU at 6:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 5. ESPNU will also rebroadcast the show on Jan. 6 at 5 p.m. and on Jan. 8 at 5 p.m.

The day begins with a look at senior Gilbert Brown's apartment. The Panthers then make a community service visit to University Prep High School where they conduct the on-going Coach Dixon Timeout Community Service Program. Pitt players speak to children about the importance of creating their own personal brand.

Sophomore J.J. Richardson introduces viewers to a post-practice team dinner at the Petersen Events Center. The team also takes an educational visit to the August Wilson Center for African American Culture. Located in downtown Pittsburgh and named for Pittsburgh native and Pulitzer Prize winning author August Wilson, the center engages regional and national audiences in its mission of preserving, presenting, interpreting and celebrating the history of African Americans in Western Pennsylvania.

Additional segments feature an all-access practice session with Dixon and assistant coaches Pat Skerry and Brandin Knight. Fans will also view a post-practice film session where Dixon and staff break down footage of Pitt's previous game against Maryland-Eastern Shore.

ESPN has aired All-Access shows featuring the Duke, Butler, Florida and Kansas State basketball programs. Pitt is the first Big East Conference program to be featured.

No. 5  Pitt (13-1 overall, 1-0 Big East) gets back into action on Tuesday, Jan. 4 when it plays at Providence. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. ET at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. The game will be televised by ESPN Regional and broadcast locally on FSN Pittsburgh.
