The basketball game between the University of Pittsburgh and Seton Hall will tip off as regularly scheduled. Pitt encourages those who can walk to the game, including students, to attend the game as they normally would.
For those others, we encourage them to stay home and allow the city and county crews to complete their work.
UPDATE: Tonight's ESPN Regional telecast cancelled
The game can be watched for free online at PittsburghPanthers.com. Link: http://all-access.cbssports.com/player.html?code=pitt&media=166250
Statement from ESPN Regional on the cancellation of tonight's telecast:
ESPN Regional Television (ERT) has had to cancel this evening's "Big East Network" production of the Seton Hall at Pittsburgh game scheduled for 6 p.m. (ET) tonight. Although the game is still scheduled to be played, the weather and road conditions throughout the area prohibit ERT from assembling production facilities and personnel in a timely fashion to originate a telecast. We regret the inconvenience, but the safety of our staff and employees is always a primary concern.
