PITTSBURGH — KDKA-TV will televise a live NCAA Tournament special — “March to the Motor City” — featuring Bob Pompeani and former Pitt great Curtis Aiken that will air Wednesday, March 18, from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

Pompeani and Aiken will take a look at the Pitt program and analyze the Panthers’ NCAA Tournament hopes. The special will also highlight the local college basketball scene as a whole.

Considered one of the Panthers’ all-time best, Aiken scored 1,200 career points from 1983-87, helping Pitt to four postseason berths, including two NCAA Tournaments and two NITs. The Panthers shared the Big East regular-season title Aiken’s senior season in 1986-87.

KDKA is Pittsburgh’s home for NCAA Tournament “March Madness” from the opening games all the way to the Final Four in Detroit!
