SAO SEBASTIAO, Brazil--Incoming freshman James Robinson and Team USA will enter Monday's Third Round matchup against host Brazil with a 2-0 record after registering consecutive wins over the Virgin Islands and Mexico at the FIBA Americas U18 Basketball Championship.

Next up for the 2-0 United States men is host Brazil (2-0) on Monday, June 18 at 5 p.m. ET. The winner of the USA-Brazil game will claim preliminary round Group A's No. 1 seed for the medal round semifinals. Argentina and Canada both have perfect 2-0 records upon entering Monday's contests.

Through two games, Robinson leads Team USA in both assists (nine) and assist:turnover ratio (9:1) and has averaged 3.5 points (seven points) and 16.5 minutes per game. The Americans are outscoring their opponents 107.5-50.5 over the squad's first two games.

In Saturday's opening round, Shaq Goodwin scored 30 points to lead Team USA to a 105-42 victory over the Virgin Islands. Robinson scored two points and dished out five assists in 17 minutes played. Four Americans reached double figure scoring in Sunday's 110-59 win over Mexico. Robinson came off the bench to contribute four assists, five points in 16 minutes played.
