NASSAU, Bahamas--For the second consecutive game, the Pitt Basketball team scored 100 or more points as its registered a 113-59 victory over the Bahamas All-Stars Sunday at Kendal G.L. Isaacs National Gymnasium. Following an off day, Pitt will play the Street Legends All-Stars on Tuesday, Aug. 5 (9 p.m. ET) and then the Atlantis All-Stars on Wednesday, Aug. 6 (7 p.m. ET).

Five Pitt players reached double figure scoring as the Panthers converted 62 percent (46-74) of its shots, 83 percent of its free throws (19-23), assisted on 31 of its 46 field goals and outrebounded the Bahamas All-Stars 49-25. The Panthers also finished with 17 steals after forcing the All-Stars into 21 turnovers.

Michael Young led the Panthers with 18 points on 8-10 shooting and five rebounds, Sheldon Jeter contributed 16 points on 7-8 shooting and six rebounds, James Robinson finished with 14 points and six assists, Cameron Wright totaled 10 points and a team-high seven assists in only 17 minutes of action and Jamel Artis scored 10 points. In addition, Joseph Uchebo led the Panthers with 13 rebounds and scored nine points and Cameron Johnson hit two 3-pointers en route to eight points.

Pitt took control early on with a 19-2 run in the middle of the first quarter. The Panthers received field goals from Wright, Robinson, Artis and Chris Jones in the run to build a 33-13 lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, Pitt turned up the ball pressure with a ball-hawking half-court defense and forced Bahamas All-Stars into several turnovers which created fast break opportunities. Pitt led 66-27 at halftime.

Pitt's five starters included Uchebo at center, sophomores Artis and Jeter at forwards and senior Wright and sophomore Josh Newkirk at guard.

Jamaal Rose led the Bahamas All-Stars with 15 points.
