PITTSBURGH--Tipoff for the 82nd annual City Game featuring Pitt and Duquesne at CONSOL Energy Center will officially be at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 30, the Atlantic 10 Conference announced Thursday afternoon. CBS College Sports will televise the matchup between the two schools separated by just two miles.
Pitt holds a 50-31 all-time advantage in the 81-game series. The Panthers have claimed 12 consecutive matchups and have won 31 of the series' last 34 games, including last year's 66-45 victory at CONSOL Energy Center on Dec. 5, 2012. For the fourth consecutive year, the City Game will be played at a neutral site.
City Game tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster. Panther Club members and season ticketholders should have received an e-mail detailing the presale times and codes.
In addition, two other Pitt men's basketball tipoff times have been confirmed including its Fresno State contest on Tuesday, Nov. 12 (7 p.m. on Regional Sports Network) and Youngstown State game on Saturday, Dec. 14 (noon on Regional Sports Network).
Pitt returns three starters from a team that finished 24-9 overall and advanced to their 11th NCAA Tournament in the last 12 seasons.
