PITTSBURGH--In anticipation of an exciting weekend, the Pitt Athletic Department has moved the Pitt-Indiana (Pa.) Legends Classic men's basketball game on Saturday, Nov. 22 to 4 p.m. Originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. tipoff, the earlier start will enable Pitt fans the opportunity to watch and follow coverage for both the No. 21 ranked football team and the No. 5 ranked men's basketball team.
Earlier this week, the Big East Conference announced that Pitt's football game at Cincinnati would be televised on ESPN2. Kickoff is at 7:15 p.m.
The Pitt-IUP men's basketball game will begin its radio broadcast on both 94.5 FM and 970 AM with the pre-game show beginning at 3:30 p.m. At 5:15 p.m., coverage on 970 AM will switch to the Pitt-Cincinnati football pre-game show. When men's basketball coverage concludes, 94.5 FM will switch over to the Pitt football game. Both broadcasts will be available on www.pittsburghpanthers.com.
A limited number of tickets are available for the men's basketball game. Please call the Panthers Ticket Office at (412) 648-PITT or visit www.pittsburghpanthers.com.
