2010 Scouting Report: Veteran quarterback who took a redshirt last season...will vie with sophomore Tino Sunseri for starting job...played in 16 games over the 2007 and '08 seasons, including nine starting assignments...was very active in weekly game-planning during his redshirt season and also made significant strides in his strength and conditioning levels...a past honoree on the Big East All-Academic Football Team.
2009: Did not play in any games and redshirted...was named the offensive recipient of the Ed Conway Award as one of the most improved players of spring drills.
2008: Played in six games, starting one...completed 22-of-41 passes (53.7%) for 270 yards with one TD and four INTs...lone start of the season came in a victory at Notre Dame, when Bill Stull was out due to injury...against the Fighting Irish Bostick threw for 164 yards on 14-of-27 passing with one TD and three INTs...facing 4th-and-6 at the Irish 10, Bostick hit Jonathan Baldwin for a TD on a fade pattern, tying the game at 24 with 2:22 left to ultimately force OT...Pitt would beat the Irish, 36-33, in four OTs...came on in relief vs. Oregon State in the Sun Bowl and hit 2-of-3 passes for 37 yards in the fourth period...other relief appearances included Navy, Rutgers, Louisville and Connecticut.
