At North Carolina (2010): Did not play in any games and redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: Selected first team All-State Class AAAA by the Pennsylvania Sports Writers as a senior all-purpose player at Gateway...Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fabulous 22"...Pittsburgh Tribune-Review "Terrific 25"...played diverse roles for the Gators, including wide receiver, tailback, defensive back, kick returner and quarterback in Wildcat formations...compiled more than 1,600 all-purpose yards and scored 20 touchdowns as a senior...had five returns for touchdowns, including three on punt returns and two kickoff returns...helped Gateway to a 12-1 record his senior year and a berth in the WPIAL Class AAAA championship game...played under Coach Terry Smith...selected to play in the Max Emfinger All-American Bowl Game Classic and Big 33 Football Classic...prior to Gateway, attended Danvers (Mass.) St. John's Prep.
