2011 Scouting Report: Returning starter at nose tackle who boasts All-Big East potential...teams with fellow senior Chas Alecxih to give Pitt perhaps the best defensive tackle tandem in the Big East...decorated student who is a three-time Big East All-Academic Football Team selection.

2010: Starter at nose tackle in 12 games...missed BBVA Compass Bowl vs. Kentucky due to a left knee injury sustained in the Cincinnati game...compiled 30 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, two sacks, one fumble recovery and a forced fumble...had season-high six tackles at USF, matching his career best, and added 1.5 TFLs with an eight-yard sack vs. the Bulls...against Louisville, returned fumble (forced by Jabaal Sheard) 56 yards to the UL 5, setting up the game-clinching TD...forced a fumble on a Cincinnati screen pass (recovered by Max Gruder) to halt a drive at the Pitt 27...the Panthers responded with a 73-yard TD drive for a 7-0 lead...had seven-yard sack vs. Rutgers.

2009: A highly productive reserve at nose tackle...played in all 13 games with one start (Louisville)...had 35 tackles, five sacks and 7.5 TFLs...also had a forced fumble and fumble recovery...had a career-high six tackles vs. Navy...had four tackles in Pitt's Meineke Car Care Bowl victory over North Carolina...Coaching Staff Defensive Player of the Game for the Connecticut contest after he compiled three tackles, two TFLs and a five-yard sack...recovered a Notre Dame fumble (forced by Greg Romeus) at the Irish 28 with 2:10 left, ending ND's final scoring chance in the 27-22 win...forced key fumble at Louisville that was recovered by teammate Gus Mustakas at the Pitt 29...the Panthers threw a 71-yard TD pass on the next play for a 21-10 third-quarter lead...the Louisville game marked first starting assignment of his career.

2008: Lettered in his first active season, playing in 12 games as a reserve defensive tackle...had nine stops and a TFL assist...had a season-high four tackles at Navy.

2007: Redshirted as a true freshman...a scout squad standout who was named Pitt's Defensive Prep Player of the Year by the coaching staff.
