2014: In his first season as Pitt's starting quarterback, Voytik completed 61% of his passes (176 of 287) for 2,233 yards with 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions...ranked third in the ACC in pass efficiency with a 140.2 rating...threw only one interception over the final six games of the season compared to six INTs in his initial seven contests...was the team's second leading rusher with 466 yards and three TDs on 108 carries (4.3 avg.)...named Pitt's Armed Forces Bowl MVP after throwing for 222 yards and a TD (18-of-35 passing) while rushing for 40 yards on six carries (6.7 avg.) against Houston...threw for a career-high 250 yards on 19-of-29 passing with one INT against Iowa...despite being hindered by the flu, helped lead Pitt to a 35-23 win at Miami by completing 8-of-12 passes for 134 yards and a TD...helped clinch the victory over the Hurricanes with a one-yard sneak on fourth-and-goal early in the fourth quarter, providing the final 12-point margin...Voytik averaged 6.5 yards per rush against Miami (26 yards on four carries)...had two 100-yard rushing games on the season: a game-high 118 yards on 19 carries (6.2 avg.) vs. Virginia Tech and a 114-yard effort on 12 carries (9.5 avg.) with a 32-yard TD at FIU...Voytik's FIU performance marked the first 100-yard rushing game by a Pitt quarterback since 1988 (Darnell Dickerson vs. Rutgers)...named to the ACC All-Academic Football Team and Capital One Academic All-District 2 Football Team.
2013: Played in four games as the top reserve behind senior starting quarterback Tom Savage...completed 6-of-11 passes for 116 yards and had three rushes for 26 yards (8.7 avg.) with a TD on the year...played the entire second half of the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl vs. Bowling Green when Savage was lost to injury and engineered a 30-27 victory by completing 5-of-9 passes for 108 yards and rushing twice for 24 yards...put Pitt up 27-20 by leading a six-play, 98-yard TD drive in the fourth quarter; completed 2-of-2 passes for 82 yards -- including a 62-yard bomb to Tyler Boyd -- and capped the drive himself with a five-yard TD run...on Pitt's game-winning field goal drive vs. BGSU, Voytik had a key 19-yard rush...first career completion went for eight yards to Manasseh Garner vs. New Mexico.
