26 Panthers Honored on Big East All-Academic Team

The Pitt football team had 26 student-athletes named to the Big East All-Academic Team, it was announced by the league office.

High School: Averaged nearly 17 yards per catch as a senior at Carlisle, compiling 52 receptions for 880 yards and nine touchdowns...first team All-Sentinel...first team Mid-Penn All-Commonwealth Division...missed his entire junior season due to a hip injury...played under Coach Josh Oswalt...perennial Honor Roll student.

Personal: Christopher Cobb Wuestner, born 6/28/94, is the son of Scott and Susan Wuestner...has two brothers...father played football at West Point...older brother, Greg, is a senior at West Point and plays rugby.
