Freshman Class Makes Instant Impact

Pitt's 2011 freshman class looks ready to contribute immediately. K.K Mosley-Smith is as strong and explosive as any defensive lineman the Panthers have on their roster and will be a vital part of a lethal defensive line rotation.

Rushed for nearly 2,000 yards and scored 20 touchdowns over his junior and senior seasons at Friendship Collegiate Academy...although limited by an ankle sprain his senior year, still had 810 yards and five TDs in seven games...selected to play in the inaugural Chesapeake Bowl all-star game that showcases players from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C....SuperPrep All-Mid-Atlantic Team...rated one of the top 30 players in Mid-Atlantic region by SuperPrep...played under Coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim...Certificate of Achievement Cum Laude Award recipient.
