Panthers Prepare to Open Spring Football Drills

Pitt begins practice under Paul Chryst on Thursday, March 15.

2011: Joined Pitt as a mid-year junior-college transfer and participated in spring drills...did not play in any games and redshirted.

Junior College: Sat out the entire 2010 season at Nassau (N.Y.) Community College after sustaining a torn left anterior cruciate ligament in the spring...had a distinguished freshman season at Nassau in 2009 as a starting offensive tackle, helping the team to a 9-2 record...played under Nassau head coach George Powers.

High School: Played high school football at Brooklyn's New Utrecht where he was a three-year starter at offensive tackle...played under New Utrecht coach Alan Balkan...led team to a 9-3 record and the semifinals of the city playoffs as a senior...played in the Brooklyn All-Star Game.
