2016: First team All-America selection by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), ESPN.com, SI.com and Sporting News…became the first Pitt offensive lineman to earn first-team All-America honors in 22 years (Ruben Brown, 1994)…Johnson additionally was a first-team All-ACC selection by the media and coaches…finished third in the coaches’ voting for the ACC’s Jacobs Blocking Trophy with 13 points, behind only repeat winner Roderick Johnson of Florida State (16 points) and Pitt teammate Adam Bisnowaty (15 points)…started all 13 games at left guard…finished his career with a streak of 40 consecutive starts dating back to the 2013 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl (vs. Bowling Green) his freshman season…played in 51 total games with 42 starting assignments for his career.
2015: Started all 13 games at left guard and was selected second team All-ACC by league coaches and media…extended his streak of consecutive starts to 27 games.
2014: After lettering as a freshman, Johnson moved into a full-time starting role on Pitt's offensive line his sophomore year...started all 13 games at left guard.
2013: Became the first true freshman to start a game on Pitt's offensive line since 2006...played in 12 games overall, starting three contests...made two starts at left tackle (Nov. 2 at Georgia Tech and Nov. 16 vs. North Carolina) and one start at right guard (Dec. 26 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl vs. Bowling Green)...named to the ESPN.com ACC All-Bowl Team for his performance in the Panthers' 30-27 win over Bowling Green...helped Pitt produce 487 yards (255 rushing and 232 passing) vs. BGSU...lone missed contest was the opener vs. Florida State.
