2015: After being limited to just six games over the prior three seasons due to injuries, Price enjoyed a highly productive and decorated 2015 campaign...started all 13 games at defensive end and compiled 48 tackles, 19.5 TFLs, 11.5 sacks, one fumble recovery (returned 32 yards for a touchdown), one forced fumble and a blocked kick...selected first team All-ACC by league coaches and media...finished third (tied) in the media voting for ACC Defensive Player of the Year...led the ACC and ranked eighth nationally in sacks per game (0.88 avg.)...finished fourth in the ACC and 11th nationally in TFLs per game (1.5 avg.)...was an unblockable force in Pitt's 45-34 triumph over Louisville, collecting 10 tackles, six TFLs and five sacks...his sack total was the highest by a Bowl Subdivision player in 2015 and fell one shy of the national record...received a wide array of accolades for his Louisville performance and was named the Chuck Bednarik Award National Defensive Player of the Week, the Football Writers Association of America's AutoNation National Defensive Player of the Week, Athlon's National Defensive Player of the Week and the ACC's Defensive Lineman of the Week...Price also was given a "Helmet Sticker" by Joe Tessitore on ESPN College Football Final...had eight tackles, two sacks and a 32-yard fumble return for a touchdown against Notre Dame...was named the ACC's Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week for his game against the Irish...had five tackles, 3.5 TFLs and two sacks in a 17-13 win at Virginia Tech...swatted a Virginia PAT attempt, a key play that kept Pitt's lead at seven points with 5:50 to go in the eventual 26-19 victory.
2014: Missed the entire 2014 campaign due to a chest muscle injury sustained during the offseason.
2013: Played in six games, starting four at defensive end...suffered a season-ending back injury in the Oct. 19 Old Dominion game...until the injury, was enjoying a productive season as a hybrid linebacker/defensive end, totaling 23 tackles, four TFLs, one sack and one pass breakup...had a season-high eight tackles at Virginia Tech...had four tackles with two TFLs against Virginia...had five stops at Duke.
2012: Did not play in any games...took a redshirt while rehabilitating a pectoral injury.
2011: Played in all 13 games as a true freshman linebacker, starting five...had 27 tackles, 6.5 TFLs and four sacks...had a season-high six tackles (all solo) against USF...had five tackles at Rutgers...had two sacks at Iowa and one at both Louisville and West Virginia.
HIGH SCHOOL: Starred on both sides of the ball for Woodland Hills as a linebacker and tight end...rated one of the top 15 middle linebacker prospects in the country by Scout...selected All-State Class AAAA by the Pennsylvania Sports Writers (second team)...Pennsylvania Football News All-Class AAAA (second team)...Pittsburgh Tribune-Review "Terrific 25"...led team to a combined 21-6 mark his final two years, including back-to-back appearances in the WPIAL Class AAAA championship game...Woodland Hills went 12-2 his junior year, winning the WPIAL title and advancing to the PIAA state quarterfinals...as a senior, team went 9-4 and reached the WPIAL title game again...played under Coach George Novak...selected to play in the Big 33 Football Classic...rated the nation's No. 14 middle linebacker by Scout...rated the No. 16 prospect in Pennsylvania by SuperPrep and No. 19 by Rivals...SuperPrep All-Northeast Team.
PERSONAL: Ejuan Amir Price, born 1/30/93, is the son of Michelle Price...prefers to be called "Juan"...has one brother...graduated in 2015 with a degree in communication and is now pursuing a second major in administration of justice.
