2011 Scouting Report: Enters his first active season at Pitt following his 2010 transfer from Illinois...figures to be a major contributor at tight end or H-Back.

2010: Transferred to Pitt from Illinois in January...did not play in any games due to NCAA transfer guidelines and redshirted.

At Illinois (2008-09): Played in 20 career games at Illinois as a tight end, totaling four catches for 59 yards (14.8 avg.)...2009 Academic All-Big Ten honoree...played in eight games with one start as a sophomore in '09, missing three games due to a back injury...had two catches for 34 yards on the season...played in all 12 games as a true freshman in '08...had two catches for 25 yards on the year.

High School: Heralded recruit at West Scranton High...PrepStar "Dream Team"...SuperPrep All-American...rated Pennsylvania's No. 13 overall prospect by Rivals...rated the nation's No. 12 tight end by Scout and No. 13 by Rivals...had 65 catches for 1,320 yards (20.3 avg.) with 11 touchdowns over his final two seasons...named to The Associated Press Pennsylvania Class AAA All-State Team (first team)...Harrisburg Patriot-News "Platinum 33"...in addition to offense, was also a standout defensive end and was selected the Scranton Times-Tribune Defensive Player of the Year...selected to play in the prestigious Big 33 Football Classic...led West Scranton to a 12-2 record and the district championship his senior year...played under Coach Michael DeAntona.
