2007 Scouting Report: Coming off a 2006 redshirt season necessitated by a training camp knee injury that resulted in surgery...following a season-long rehabilitation program, was able to participate in spring drills and displayed flashes of exciting potential and toughness...enters the preseason listed as the top reserve at middle linebacker.

2006: Redshirted as a true freshman...injured his right ACL during training camp and ultimately used the inactive season to rehabilitate following surgery.

High School: Finished his high school career as Gateway's all-time career tackles leader with 288 stops...compiled 108 tackles, four forced fumbles, two sacks and two fumble recoveries as a senior...three-year starter who helped Gateway to three WPIAL playoff berths, two section titles and a combined 27-8 mark (.771) during his varsity career...Pittsburgh Tribune-Review All-Class AAA...two-time first team All-Quad Southwest...team went 7-4 his senior year and 11-2 his junior season, finishing as the WPIAL Class AAAA runner-up...PrepStar All-American...rated the nation's No. 20 inside linebacker by Rivals.com...Rivals.com also rated him the No. 19 overall prospect in Pennsylvania...played under Coach Terry Smith...also lettered in baseball and basketball at Gateway...all-section honoree in baseball...High Honor Roll student.
