2016: Starting middle linebacker for the third consecutive year...started all 13 games and led Pitt with 85 tackles and three fumble recoveries...added 4.5 TFLs, a sack assist and two PBUs...ranked eighth nationally and second in the ACC in fumble recoveries...had a season-high 15 tackles, including two TFLs, a fumble recovery and a PBU against Northwestern in the Pinstripe Bowl...had 13 tackles against Syracuse...in the Panthers' upset at eventual national champion Clemson, had 12 tackles and a sack assist...made a crucial play against the Tigers, halting Wayne Gallman for no gain on 4th-and-1 at the Pitt 35 with 58 seconds left...Pitt responded by driving 34 yards for the game-winning field goal with six seconds remaining...at Oklahoma State, scooped up a fumble and returned it two yards for a TD...finished his career with 283 tackles to rank 19th all-time at Pitt...named to the All-ACC Academic Football Team...selected to play in the College Gridiron Showcase all-star game.
2015: Started all 13 games at middle linebacker...compiled 88 tackles, 10 TFLs, five sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles...finished second on the team in tackles and sacks (tied)...had a career-high 19 stops against Navy in the Military Bowl, the most tackles in a game by a Pitt player since 2006...also forced a Navy fumble that was returned 22 yards for a touchdown by safety Jordan Whitehead...had 10 tackles with a nine-yard sack at Virginia Tech...had 10 stops against Miami...was twice named the ACC Linebacker of the Week (Virginia and Syracuse games)...in Pitt's 26-19 win over Virginia, had five tackles, two sacks and an interception that he returned 51 yards...in a 23-20 win at Syracuse, Galambos sparked Pitt on defense and as an unlikely pass receiver...defensively, he had five tackles, a career-high three TFLs and an interception...but his biggest play against Syracuse came with the game tied at 20 and Pitt facing 4th-and-7 at its own 48 with less than five minutes to go...Galambos helped execute a gutsy fake punt when he caught a 12-yard pass from Ryan Winslow, setting the Panthers up at the Orange 40...the play extended Pitt's drive that concluded with Chris Blewitt's game-winning 25-yard field goal as time expired...had a seven-yard sack against Notre Dame, forcing a fumble that was returned 32 yards by defensive end Ejuan Price for a TD.
2014: Played in all 13 games, starting 10 at middle linebacker...finished third on the team with 72 tackles and added 4.5 TFLs, an interception and a PBU...twice had a career-high nine tackles (Iowa and North Carolina)...had a team-high eight tackles and a personal-best two TFLs against Houston in the Armed Forces Bowl...had the first interception of his career, returning it 19 yards, in the season opener vs. Delaware.
2013: Played in all 13 games as a true freshman, making two starts at middle linebacker...starting assignments came in consecutive games vs. Virginia (Sept. 28) and at Virginia Tech (Oct. 12)...totaled 38 tackles, one TFL and a fumble recovery...had a career-high seven tackles at Navy...had five stops in three separate games (Duke, Virginia Tech and Miami)...had a five-yard TFL vs. New Mexico...recovered a fumble at Georgia Tech to halt a drive that reached the Pitt 22.
HIGH SCHOOL: One of the Philadelphia area's top defensive prospects following a decorated career at The Haverford School...selected All-State Class AAA by the Pennsylvania Sports Writers...Pennsylvania Football News All-Class AAA....named the No. 1 linebacker in Southeastern Pennsylvania by the Philadelphia Inquirer...Philadelphia Daily News All-City...a two-way first-team All-Inter-Academic League selection at running back and linebacker...first team All-Delaware County...first team All-Mainline...compiled 104 tackles and five sacks his senior year...also rushed for 818 yards and six touchdowns on 156 carries (5.2 avg.) and had 11 receptions for 152 yards (13.8 avg.)...moved from tight end to running back early in his senior season due to injuries and made his backfield debut with a 206-yard rushing effort on just 19 carries (10.8 avg.) in a victory over The Lawrenceville School...led team to a 7-4 record and runner-up finish in the Inter-Ac League...first player in Haverford School history to be selected for the Big 33 Football Classic...rated the No. 18 prospect in Pennsylvania by Rivals and No. 29 by Scout...rated the nation's No. 34 middle linebacker by Scout...played under Coach Mike Murphy...also competed in track and field as a discus and shot-put thrower.
