JOE PERRI enters his first season as Pitt's offensive graduate assistant. Perri will have a specific focus on the Panthers' offensive line.
A former offensive lineman himself for the Panthers, Perri is a 2007 graduate of Pitt with a bachelor's degree in political science. He was unable to play his final two years due to injuries, but remained an important contributor to the program while serving as an undergraduate assistant. In that capacity he contributed to the daily operations of the team and assisted with the offensive line.
A native of Muskegon, Mich., he was a two-time all-state performer at Muskegon Catholic Central.
