2010 Scouting Report: Coming off an All-Big East junior season, Pinkston appears poised for even greater accolades in 2010...enters his third year as Pitt's starting left offensive tackle...the Panthers have produced a 1,000-yard rusher each year he has been a starter...excellent athlete with good footwork and mobility...with 28 career starts, he will be a cornerstone for the Panthers' retooled offensive front...Pinkston teams with junior Lucas Nix to help form potentially the top offensive tackle tandem in the Big East.

2007: Started the first three games at right tackle before suffering a season-ending left shoulder injury at Michigan State Sept. 15...underwent surgery and received a medical redshirt. 2006: Worked at defensive tackle through fall training camp before moving to offensive tackle in September...played in seven games during his true freshman campaign to addition to serving as a backup left offensive tackle, he also appeared in Pitt's "jumbo" set in short yardage situations as a fullback...also contributed on the extra-point/field goal block unit.
