Personal: Tamarcus J. Porter, born 3/18/88, is the son of Ernest and Tammy Bussey...has four brothers... brother Herbert Porter wrestled at Anderson (S.C.) College...is a cousin of Carlton Williamson, a star safety at Pitt from 1977-80 who went on to play eight seasons for the San Francisco 49ers (1981-88)...T.J.'s mother lived next door to former Pitt great Rickey Jackson as a youth in Pahokee...Jackson, also a Pahokee High product, was an outstanding defensive end at Pitt (1977-80) and then went on to a 16-year career in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints (1981-94, 1996) and San Francisco 49ers (1995)...social sciences major.
