2014: Seized the starting punting job in his first active season...averaged 40.1 yards on 50 punts for the year...had a season-long 51-yard punt at North Carolina...averaged a season-best 43.5 yards (on two punts) vs. Houston in the Armed Forces Bowl...named the ACC Specialist of the Week for his Virginia Tech performance after dropping five of his seven punts inside the Hokies' 15-yard line...averaged 41.6 yards per punt against Virginia Tech...named to the ACC All-Academic Football Team.

PERSONAL: Ryan Henry Winslow, born 4/30/94, is the son of George and Teresa Winslow...father was the first scholarship punter at Wisconsin...George finished his collegiate career at Villanova and went on to punt in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns (1987) and New Orleans Saints (1989)...George and Ryan were both named to the Philadelphia Daily News 35-Year All-City Team (George was the first-team punter, while Ryan was a third-team pick)...mother played field hockey and lacrosse for Ursinus College and is a member of the school's athletic hall of fame...finance major.
