2006 Scouting Report: A returning starter at defensive end who will be a key member of Pitt's young defensive front...heads into fall training camp with 18 career starts and 34 games played - by far the most of any Pitt defensive lineman...while not the conventional body type for a down lineman, Sallet combines a lightning first step with tenacity to be effective.

2005: Played in 10 games, starting nine at DE...missed the Syracuse game due to a knee injury sustained versus South Florida...did not start at Louisville but did play in a limited role...had 27 tackles, 5.5 TFLs and 2.5 sacks...second on the team (tied) with 5.5 TFLs...had a season-high six tackles at Rutgers...had five tackles at Nebraska and was in on three TFLs...had four tackles and a six-yard sack versus Cincinnati...had a nine-yard sack versus Connecticut.

2004: Moved into a starting role at defensive end with the injured status of Azzie Beagnyam...played in all 12 games, starting nine...had 26 tackles, 4.5 TFLs and three sacks on the season...three sacks ranked second (tied) on team...had a career-high seven tackles with two sacks at Temple...finished with three tackles, 1.5 TFLs, a sack and recorded his first career fumble recovery versus Boston College...made first career start versus Furman and had three tackles with one TFL... moved to end from linebacker during the offseason and earned the Ed Conway Award as one of the most improved players of the spring.

2003: Played in 12 games, serving on special teams and as a reserve linebacker...had five tackles on the year.

2002: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: Finished as Armwood High's all-time leader with 38 quarterback sacks...recorded 82 quarterback hurries in three varsity seasons...compiled 101 tackles, 12 sacks and an interception returned for a touchdown as a senior...three-year starter at defensive end...first team All-Western Conference, St. Petersburg Times All-Sun Coast and all-district...helped Armwood to a three-year record of 24-12 and two playoff a junior in 2000, Sallet led team to the regional championship and Class 3A state semifinals with an 11-3 100 prospect in Florida by SuperPrep...PrepStar Honorable Mention All-Southeast Region...selected to play in the East vs. West All-Star Game...earned three letters under Coach Sean Callahan...also lettered three times in track and field...three-time regional champion in the shot put.
