2013: Played in 10 games, starting the final eight contests at left guard...helped Pitt produce 487 yards (255 rushing and 232 passing) in his final collegiate contest, a 30-27 win over Bowling Green in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl...played in 32 career contests with 24 starts.

2012: Started the season's opening eight games at right guard...missed the balance of the year after suffering a season-ending right foot injury vs. Temple (Oct. 27).

2011: Played in 11 games, starting the last eight contests of the season (five at left guard and three at right guard)...was thrust into a prominent role when starting senior right guard Lucas Nix was injured early in the Sept. 29 USF game...came off the bench against the Bulls and helped Pitt rack up 523 yards in the 44-17 victory...made his first career start the following week at Rutgers and did not leave the starting lineup for the balance of the season.

2010: Played in three games (New Hampshire, FIU and Rutgers).

2009: Redshirted as a true freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named to The Associated Press Pennsylvania Class AAAA All-State Team (first team)...Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fabulous 22"...Harrisburg Patriot-News "Platinum 33"...played both left and right offensive tackle as a senior at North Allegheny...led team to a combined 17-6 mark (.739) his final two seasons, including consecutive trips to the WPIAL Class AAAA went 11-1 his junior year, capturing the Northern Six conference title and advancing to the WPIAL semifinals...rated the No. 28 prospect in Pennsylvania by Rivals and SuperPrep...SuperPrep All-Northeast Team...PrepStar All-East Region...played under Coach Art Walker Jr....also played baseball and basketball...North Allegheny Scholar-Athlete honoree.

PERSONAL: Ryan Andrew Schlieper, born 8/18/90, is the son of Richard and Amy Schlieper...has two brothers...father was a pitcher in the Toronto Blue Jays organization from 1985-87...graduated in April with a bachelor's degree in history and is pursuing a second degree in administration of justice.
