2007 Scouting Report: Will be a prominent figure at tight end for the third consecutive season...lettered as the top reserve each of the last two years...tremendously gifted from a physical and athletic standpoint...built like a tight end with the nimbleness of a a big target with soft hands and the ability to make the tough leaping grab.

2006: Played in 10 games, making four starts...had 15 catches for 171 yards (11.4 avg.) on the year...had three TD catches...matched his career high with four catches vs. Toledo (for 51 yards)...also had a one-yard TD catch vs. the Rockets...had four catches vs. Michigan State, totaling 32 yards...had three catches for 30 yards and a one-yard TD vs. Virginia...threw a 30-yard TD pass to LaRod Stephens-Howling on a gadget play vs. The Citadel... had a 19-yard TD catch at South Florida...missed two contests (Connecticut and West Virginia) due to a disciplinary suspension.

2005: Played in all 11 games and started two in his first season at tight end...had 16 receptions for 226 yards (14.1 avg.) and one TD...also had two 2-point conversion catches...had 59 receiving yards on a career-high four catches (14.8 avg.) at Rutgers and also added a two-point conversion catch...had a career-high 62 yards on three catches (20.7 avg.) versus Youngstown State...had three catches for 37 yards (12.3 avg.) and had a two-point conversion catch versus Cincinnati...scored his first career TD with an eight-yard catch versus South Florida.

2004: Played in all 12 games as a reserve receiver, making one start when Pitt opened in a four-receiver set at Notre Dame...had four catches for 58 yards (14.5 avg.) on the year...had a season-high two catches for 40 yards vs. Nebraska...his season-long catch of 31 yards came against the Cornhuskers...also had a pair of nine-yard catches vs. Notre Dame and Furman.
