2006 Scouting Report: Versatile veteran who is capable of playing all three linebacker positions...excellent aptitude and attentiveness to his assignments give him that flexibility...started at Sam linebacker last year and played in the middle during the 2004 season... gained repetitions at Will linebacker during 2006 spring drills...enters fall training camp as one of the top two players at Sam, but may see time at Will this year as well.

2005: Played in all 11 games, starting nine at Sam's fourth-leading tackler with 45 stops...second on the team (tied) with 5.5 TFLs... had one sack...had a career-high 10 tackles at Nebraska with three TFLs, a sack and a pass breakup... had seven tackles and one TFL versus Ohio...had five tackles and a TFL versus Cincinnati...had five tackles at Rutgers.

2004: Was the chief reserve at middle linebacker, playing in 11 games in his first active season...had 19 tackles...made lone start of the year at Notre Dame after Clint Session missed practice time due to a hamstring injury...had a season-high five tackles at South Florida...had three tackles versus Notre Dame and Rutgers.

2003: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: First team All-Maryland...three-year starter at linebacker and also played tight end for perennial state power Eleanor Roosevelt High...first team Pigskin All-Met...first team All-4A League...first team All-Prince Georges County... as a junior earned second team All-Maryland...selected one of 50 National Players of the Year by Old Spice "Red Zone"...averaged 16.1 tackles and 1.3 sacks per game as a senior...during his four-year varsity career, Eleanor Roosevelt went 40-7 (.851), won three regional championships, two county championships, advanced to the state title game twice and won the 1999 Maryland title...rated the No. 6 prospect in Maryland by the nation's No. 34 inside linebacker prospect by All-Mid Atlantic Team...rated Maryland's No. 17 prospect by SuperPrep...PrepStar All-Atlantic Region... played under Coach Rick Houchens, earning four football letters.
