2014: Played in all 13 games, starting 11 at Will linebacker...did not start against Akron or Virginia Tech when the Panthers opened up in a nickel package...team's second-leading tackler with a career-high 73 stops...added 5.5 TFLs, three PBUs, one interception (against Delaware) and one fumble recovery (Syracuse)...collected a career-high 15 tackles against Georgia Tech...had 12 stops and an assisted TFL at Virginia...had seven tackles (all solo) with a career-high three TFLs at North Carolina.
2013: Played in all 13 games, starting 10 at Will linebacker...finished as Pitt's fourth-leading tackler with 72 stops and was third with six TFLs...had a career-high 12 tackles at Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech...totaled 10 stops with a career-high two TFLs (losses totaling eight yards) vs. New Mexico...had seven tackles and a three-yard TFL in Pitt's Little Caesars Pizza Bowl victory over Bowling Green.
2012: Played in the final nine games, starting seven contests at Will linebacker...missed the first four games of the year due to his recovery from offseason left knee surgery...totaled 59 tackles, 1.5 sacks, five pass breakups, one interception and one blocked punt (which he recovered in the end zone for a TD vs. Louisville)...twice had a season-high 11 tackles (Buffalo and Notre Dame)...turned back a USF scoring threat with an INT at the Pitt 5 and returned it 33 yards.

2010: Redshirted as a true freshman...sustained a left knee injury in early October that resulted in surgery.
PREP SCHOOL: Spent the 2009 season at Milford (N.Y.) Academy...rated the No. 4 prep school prospect in the country by Rivals...was named Milford's Most Valuable Defensive Player after compiling 66 tackles, 12 pass breakups and four interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, as a starting safety...helped the Falcons to an 8-5 record against a schedule comprised primarily of collegiate competition...played under Milford coach Bill Chaplick.

PERSONAL: Todd Robert Lee Thomas, born 4/27/91, is the son of Jodie Thomas-Brown and Lionel Craft...has one brother...mother was a standout track and basketball athlete at Beaver Falls and Central Dauphin High...cousin Todd Pipkin was a defensive end at Pitt (1987-90)...also has two cousins who were Division I college basketball players, Gabe Jackson (Robert Morris) and Chris Pipkin (Eastern Michigan)...administration of justice major.
