Coach Dave Wannstedt Announces Pitt's 2008 Recruiting Class

2011 Scouting Report: Working to bounce back after missing virtually the entire 2010 season due to a knee injury...focus during the offseason has been on continued rehabilitation...upon a healthy return, is slated to compete at Sam linebacker.

2010: Sustained a left knee injury in the opener at Utah and missed the balance of the season.

2009: Played in 12 games to earn his first letter...had eight tackles and one forced fumble on the year...on the kickoff cover team, forced a Buffalo return man to fumble, giving Pitt possession at the UB 23...Pitt threw a TD pass on the next play for a 14-0 lead in the eventual 54-27 victory...had a season-high two tackles in three different games (Buffalo, NC State and USF). 2008: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: Excelled on both sides of the ball at Clairton...as a senior strong safety had 82 tackles, 4.5 sacks, an interception return for a touchdown and a fumble return for a TD...averaged an amazing 16.3 yards per carry at fullback, carrying 26 times for 424 yards and 13 touchdowns...named to The Associated Press Pennsylvania Class A All-State Team (first team)...
