In anticipation of Pitt's season-opening contest against Utah on Thursday night, the Panthers' new 50,000-watt flagship station, Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan, will broadcast condensed game replays from three key 2009 Panther football games on Wednesday evening. The special will air from 6-10 p.m. on The Fan.

The three games featured will include Pitt’s 24-21 win against Connecticut, its 27-22 victory over Notre Dame and its 19-17 win against North Carolina in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

The broadcast will feature interviews and analysis from current Pitt players who played major roles in those games, including receiver Jon Baldwin, offensive tackle Jason Pinkston and kicker Dan Hutchins.

Pitt opens the 2010 season with a highly anticipated game at Utah on Thursday, Sept. 2. Pregame coverage on 93.7 The Fan begins at 5:30 p.m. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m.
