EL PASO, Texas - Pitt settled in to its bowl regimen Saturday as the team began the morning with meetings in preparation of Wednesday's game with Oregon State.

Head Coach Dave Wannstedt and players visited children and their families at El Paso's Thomason Hospital Saturday morning. Quite a few Pitt Panther fans were made during the visit.

Normal practices began Saturday afternoon with the team taking the field in shells and shorts to go over the Oregon State scout. After a two-hour practice and media commitments, the team returned to the hotel. The evening ended with a trip to Adventure Zone for fun with go-carts, miniature golf, batting cages and video games.

Pitt will resume preparations Sunday morning for their Dec. 31 meeting with Oregon State. The contest will be broadcast live on CBS at 2:15 p.m. EST. For more information and multi-media on the Brut Sun Bowl, please visit Bowl Central at www.pittsburghpanthers.com.
