2000:Chris Churchill proved to be the key to the Panthers' defense in just his first season at Pittsburgh...started all 18 games at sweeper...led the defense that allowed just 21 opponent goals on the year...was named the Big East's Co-Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Panthers to a 1-0 upset over then second-ranked St. John's (Sept. 9)...anchored the defense that shut down the Red Storm offense and got his first career assist at Pittsburgh on the game-winning goal...also named to Soccer America's Team of the Week for his efforts...scored his first career goal at Pittsburgh versus Duquesne (Sept. 13)...finished the year second (tied) on the team in scoring with 13 points on four goals and five assists...had a team-high three game-winning goals in victories over Duquesne, West Virginia (Oct. 4) and Robert Morris (Oct. 10)...recorded two assists in a win at Georgetown (Oct. 7)...tied for the lead in scoring against Big East opponents with eight points.

At Penn State: Played in 12 games for the Nittany Lions in 1999, including four starts at defender...took five shots on goal...spent the 1998 season as a redshirt...recorded five points as a freshman on two goals and one assist...played in 10 games, starting four.

High School: Helped Quaker Valley High School to Pennsylvania state titles in 1993, 1995, and 1996...team was also ranked No. 1 by USA Today in 1996...a high school All-American...a three-time All-WPIAL and All-State honoree.
